Everyone wants to shine bright like a diamond, but do you have the determination, work ethic, and grit to get to shine status? People see the glamorous life, outings, events, all of the glory, but do they know the hard work that goes into getting there?
Like a diamond, we all start off as carbon in our business ventures. New, uneducated, a few skills under our belt, all while having grand ideas. Slowly over time, we go through growing pains and pressure and rise out as a diamond with lots of shine complete with glitter, confetti, and anything else that sparkles. As entrepreneurs, we put a lot of hard work and effort into our businesses.
The research, late nights, practicing your skill, education, and networking goes into forming your carbon into a diamond. But shine is not finite, it’s never-ending as you find more ways to reach and aspire for more.
How do you gain your shine? Here are a few ways:
Take time to position your business message and branding.
Make sure that your brand is all that it can be and then some.
Learn and absorb everything that you can about your field, and similar industries.
Move with people who have a similar mindset as yours.
Be kind, you never know when the tables will turn.
Remember that everything takes time and your goals will be achieved when it's your season.
Most importantly, stay positive in all that you do.
