It's almost Easter, and you are looking for something fun for the kids do. Try making Easter Egg Bark! The bark simple to make and takes no time at all. The kids can have fun adding their favorite Easter candy to the mix! Watch Laresa Thompson demonstrate the Easter Egg Bark recipe here!
Ingredients:
1 - 11 ounce bag of Ghiradelli Classic White Baking Chips
1/2 Cup - Easter M & M's
1/2 cup of Brach's Speckled Jelly Bird Eggs
1/4 cup Sprinkles (Spring/Pastel Colors - Any brand will do.)
Equipment:
Glass Bowl
Small Cookie Sheet
Parchment Paper
Spatula
Directions:
Line the cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Set out the sprinkles and Easter candy, so that they will be ready to add to the white chocolate before it cools.
Melt the white chocolate in the microwave in a glass bowl in 30 second increments until fully melted. Stir after each 30 second increment. (Heating times may vary).
Pour the melted white chocolate on the cookie sheet and quickly spread with spatula.
Sprinkle the Easter candy and sprinkles on the melted white chocolate.
Place the cookie sheet in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to let the bark cool and set.
Once the bark has cooled, break into pieces and enjoy!
The bark can be stored in an airtight container for 1 week.
